Submit a Manuscript

We are always looking for new ideas and manuscripts for instructional books. Our area of expertise is educational books for grades pre-K through 12. If you have an idea for an instructional title, the first step is to send us a brief description of the book (including the purpose of the book and audience for the book) accompanied by an outline or table of contents and a sample chapter. We do not want to see a full manuscript at this early stage. Please also include your resume or vita. You can send these proposals to:

If our acquisitions editor feels that your proposal represents an instructional book that might fit into our editorial program, we will contact you about submitting a more complete book proposal. Please remember that, due to the volume of materials that arrive here every day, we cannot respond to each proposal that we receive.

Also, Peoples Education cannot be responsible for unsolicited manuscripts that are sent to us. Please be sure to keep a copy of all proposal materials you send to us, because unsolicited proposals will not be returned.
